Maybe try the matchstick carrots. My first raw veggie was zucchini and squash. Raw veggies as a whole are very difficult. It just may have been too soon. Carrots can still be in your future

I eat raw carrots and raw celery and raw cauliflower all the time. I like em raw better than cooked. I haven't had an issue, seems I like them better than alot of dense protiens.....isn't it interesting that we ALL are different. The same basic plumbing but nothing processes the same......

Cooked carrots haven't given me any problems, and I really don't think it was a chewing issue this time (or last time)-- for whatever reason, my Pouchie just does not like raw carrots. COOKED have been fine, but RAW? Look out!

It wasn't even very much-- only 3 average-sized carrots. I didn't feel "full" afterwards or anything, just wanted something to crunch on, you know?

I've been able to have salads since the 3-month mark without any problems, so lettuce is fine... I just think the carrots are too "dense" right now for me. Hopefully in a few months, that will change!

Ya, I have tried carrots before (raw) and there is no way I would try them again. I posted about this a few weeks back. I can do raw celery and raw onion, but carrots raw, No Way!
