Feeling of satisfaction changes throughout the day
I have found that when I eat my breakfast the I can sometimes not even finish the 1/4 cup. Lunch I can finish it sometimes with a little more room for a few veggies. By dinner I can eat the 1/4 cup and then maybe an other 1/4 cup of veggies. Is this normal, too much, I am lost and concerned. Why does it take more at night to make me feel satisfied?

Late Eating
I don't know the answer, but I very much want to hear it. I too have the 'nightime hunger' but like you it just seems I can eat more the later in the day it gets. I am 8 months out now and have to be very careful, I don't want to go back into the eating all night habbit.

You are normal
Yes, it's normal. Your pouch capacity changes according to any number of factors: the time of day, your stress levels, the weather (swear!), how much liquid you've been drinking, whether you've been drinking alcohol (I know you haven't - just saying that a number of people have posted that they can eat more when they're drinking alcohol), how close you are to your period, and how far out you are from surgery. Time to relax, take each day as it comes. Your present pouch capacity at night is not bad, nor does it predict failure.
There are arguments from both sides of the fence, but the majority of the experts agree that pouch capacity does not affect how much weight you lose. Here's a question and answer from NPR, and the link below it, so you can read the whole session:
Does the stomach stretch again over time?: Over time, stretching of the stomach may occur. No one has clearly documented that this really happens. It is known that weight loss is not related to pouch size or the size of the connection between the stomach and small intestine. It has been clearly shown that subsequent operations to reduce the size of large pouches or make the connection smaller do not result in further weight loss.

Leesa do not worry!! When I say it takes more to make me feel satisfied, it truly is about 1/4 more at the most that it takes. If you make sure that you have eaten your protein, it actually is a bit nice to be able to have some veggies just to add some flavor. It's not like by the end of the day I can go out and eat a Big Mac, Large Fries and a Large Coke The thought of that just makes me ill.
When the late night munchie need arises, I go for a SF popsicle. That always hits the spot and get a little more fluid in. You are going to be fine! The head hunger and cravings are hard but you will be able to do it. It gets a little easier as time goes on. The first week was awful... my stupid head thought I should eat all the time
HUGS!!

Yes its normal. Sometimes you will feel like you have a big pouch and others a small pouch. Early out, I had to start very slow in the day, and increase as the day went on to get in all the nutrition I needed. Listen to your body and do what feels right.

Just a little.
I also notice that when im home at night I have allllllll the time in the world to eat as well as some boredom. So it makes getting in more easy, just need to make sure its something a little more healthier than what we used to eat.

Its also more difficult to eat in the morning, as well as take your first sip sometimes, because the pouch is "sticky" in the morning. We dont have stomach acids that keep it slick, so as the day progresses, the pouch lubes up through hydration and it gets easier to eat. you may find if you skip breakfast and dont eat until very late in the day, you can barely get anything in.
Try eating an apple before you go ot bed and see if this helps get things moving for you in the morning.
