Default How about a Duh moment!

Went to my first support group meeting last night. Remember how paranoid I've been about portion sizes, etc.? Well, if I'm eating solid food, such as baked fish (cod, nice, soft, flaky), I can only eat a few bites. If it's chili, yes I can do more, but it's more liquidy than what some people have. Now that I think about it, this has been the case all along. My old standby, cottage cheese, is never more than 1/3 cup. Liquidy- more, solid (but well chewed)- less. Now I don't feel so bad and I hope I have it right!

BTW- This is only the second meeting of the support group at my hospital. One of the things we agreed on, those who have had the surgery there, is that they WILL make more post-op info available to us.
