Default Worried about failing? Look at this!

THREE PRINICIPLES FOR GAINING AND MAINTAINING SATIETY
reprinted from a very cool paper I found on the internet a million years ago!

  1. Fill pouch quickly at each meal. that means eating for no longer than 15-20 minutes, no matter what!
  1. Stay full by slowing the emptying of the pouch. (Eat solids. No liquids 15 minutes before and none until an hour after each meal.) A scientific test showed that a meal of egg/toast/milk had almost emptied out of the pouch after 45 minutes. Without milk, just egg and toast, more than 1/2 of the meal still remained in the pouch after 1 1/2 hours.
  1. Protein, protein, protein. Three meals a day (or more if recommended by your Dr, as long as they are planned! ) No high calorie liquids. (careful of artificial sweetners though, study shows they can bring on intense hunger cravings.)

I have alot more really cool stuff posting shortly!

Thank you, Bridget! You've been like the Energizer Bunny, lately, cranking out the info- I've read every line! It's helped, too. I returned to work this week and have barely had time to peek at the forum. You have provided a terrific TT transfusion!!!

TGIF!
