So i am about to go to the hospital and the pulomonlogist calls me and says that it is nothing to worry about because my lungs were clear, and it can be expected because my hemoglobin dropped so low but to call him if it gets worse. So I called my surgeon back and I didnt get the impression he agreed, My surgeon said to call him in the morinign and if it is still happening then he wants me in the hospital because its better safe than sorry... If it gets worse tonight I am just going to go right away, Like I said I feel fine except for random gasping... I dont know... I will keep you guys posted
Thanks
Gina

I was going to ask if you have been using your spirometer? That is very important to keep using even after coming home. The lungs need the work out. Also taking in consideration that you live in very cold climates also don't help. Keep us posted. You are in my prayers Gina.

DON'T screw around with this - you are too soon after surgery to be playing a waiting game - go to the ER if this condition persists and make them check you out! The worse thing that results is that you have spent a few hours and they end up sending you home.
