Cool It's been a year

Hello everyone,

It's been such a long time that I have not posted anything here that I don't know if anyone is going to remember me all I can say that I was participating from Switzerland. December 1st was 1 year anniversary of my surgery and I lost 58 kilos I think that like 127 pounds. Before the surgery I was 286 now I am 154. I hope this message will help the once that are still not sure about the surgery. It saved my live, It has been very easy the weight just come off without any special efforts, sure there are some things that I can not eat like rice or pasta, but I never really cared because of the weight lost.
I can wear what I want, and I had the sexiest dress for the New Year Party.

Thank you to everyone for the precious advises that I received on this site
With love

Smile Welcome back Alix

Hi Alix~
I don't know you from one year ago, but it sure is nice to see that you have come back. As you know, everyone on the forum is very supportive and your experiences would be very helpful to others here too.

Congratulations on your successful weightloss! That's incredible! Have you been exercising as well as watching your food choices? I have been working out 4 times a week and my body is just craving it. I'm having a hard time with my water intake and I know I need to do better with that.

Please don't be a stranger and come back more often.

Alix,

I am so happy for you with your success. Sounds like things are going very well for you!!

I'll tell you though, I wish my weight loss was as "easy" as you say yours is!! I have been running into more "old behaviors" lately and it can be very difficult to overcome some of the food demons. I can say that I am getting back on the exercise track and I have been keeping a food diary for the last 4 or 5 days which helps me recognize certain triggers and stuff.

Anyway, I am slowly losing more weight and I know I have a lot of work in front of me to keep it off. I am ready for it!!!

Congrats to you, Alix!
