Question Calling All February Staplers? HOW U DOIN?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just needed to check on my rebirth partners.

I am finally doing better. I am still seeing an in Home nurse 2 Days a week and have many in home blood draws. My bleed is under control and my hydration is improved since the addition of salt to my daily intake.

I reached the Century club on 3/10/07 287 from 387 on 10/08/06

Nice to celebrate feeeels sooo good.

I have lost 34 lbs. post op.

My out look is great and feeling like I am on the mend.

HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING ????

Default 35lbs down!!

Well, I've been doing fine. The toughest thing for me was learning how to "sip" water and not "gulp" water anymore. Wish I was losing faster but at this point...I'm just glad I'm losing!! Thanks for asking about us!

Well I was on the very last day of February but still a February Stapler! I am almost three weeks out now and I don't weigh again until Wednesday, but as of last week I am down 18 pounds. I really need to up my exercise, since I have been feeling better I am just back into running my regular routine. I am having a hard time finding a way to get my walking in.

So I am happy with my weight loss this far but disappointed in myself that I am not getting much exercise. I am depressed almost everyday and trying really hard to not let it get to me, I have even cried a couple of times about missing some foods. Sounds silly to type out here, but it is really tough when it is happening!

Thank you so much Dave for checking in on all of us!! So kind!

Goal to be "normal" 155

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.

Thumbs up

Rachel,

You are doing wonderful if you can already return to your normal schedule. I have not gotten past the bed and easy chair. As for the weight loss you are out 2 weeks less than I. I don't know how to help the depression other than to say I have such a strong respect for anyone who reaches out to others to help and those who have the inner strength to take risks to improve them selves. YOU ARE A SHINING EXAMPLE OF BOTH.

Rachel, hang in there! You are doing great! The way I think about it, when I start missing certain foods or feelings from foods is, I've had 30 years to eat that...and it got me here...so I don't need it...I've been there, done that!!
