Beth ,Miss Kitty, Deb, Ron, Lisak, Lynda, and Tim,

Thank you for your well wishes and prayers. at this point it looks like I will be needing them. The discussion is now heading toward a Daily home care nurse and the installation of an access port for IV fluids at home. This actually sounds good to me vrs going back in the hospital. It just feels really good to be at home. I will beat this and be back stronger than ever.

God Bless you all a stay focused on your goals. You all are doing wonderful things for yourselves and others

Default This Shall Pass Too

Dave - I feel your pain...however we are all praying that you get better soon.

I had my surgery on January 16th and then another one on the 22nd of January. To make it easy there was a kink in the pipes and the only way to un-kink it was through the second surgery.

It sucked...the pain was horrific and I questioned myself a bizzillion times on why I did this to my self. I spent a total on 9 days in the hospital and every second was worst than the last one.

Fast forward to today...I would go through it again. I have lost 50 lbs, I feel great, I started exercising and did 30 minutes on the elliptical machine last night without feeling as if I was going to die, my clothes feel much better, my sex life if getting better by the night and I definately see a light at the end of the tunnel.

This surgery saved my life....in every sense of the word.

On the afternoon of January 22 if someone would have told me that on March 6 I would feel this way - I would have told them to stick it...but I am telling you...I am a true beleiver of the saying THIS SHALL PASS TOO!!!

We are all behind you and we know you will get better!

Keep us updated!

Dave, so glad to hear from you. I check the threads everyday looking for news.

Sounds like things are on the way to recovery. You are kicking butt with the liquids and protein....awesome!

Hang in there, get rest and take it one day at a time.
