been very hungry
Is it normal to be very hungry??? I mean, lately ive been able to eat more than what im used to and be fine. however, I am scared that perhaps my pouch might rip-open or that ill gain weight. I just find it strange that Im actually hungry nowadays whereas i would have to force myself to eat before. Should I make any modifications in my diet so that I am not as hungry and so that I dont fall into tempting high-calorie foods like peanut butter and cottege cheese???

It was at about 6 months that I noticed a big difference. Some days I have a big pouch, others a small one. I think thats pretty normal....but how you handle it is something else. Keep to the rules, keep up the fluids and make good choices.
If you had other symptoms like pain, then I would investigate it more.

Since my surgery, I have not been one of those people who don't get hungry. In fact, I get REALLY hungry. Sometimes I feel like I'm so hungry I could take on an all you can eat buffet But then I eat a few bites and am full. I don't think it's odd that you are hungry now. Especially since you a few months out. I also find some days I am able to eat more than others. There are days when I am literally stuffed after 2 or 3 bites of something, and others when I can eat more. I say don't worry if you still feel like you are doing well overall.

yeah. thanks. its just weird. Almost like a small binge of some sort. I mean, I try to stick to the green veggies and proteins to make me full, however, im scared that since I am able to fit more and more without getting the "full-feeling," ill end up gaining weight back
It is not every day that i feel this way though. I am pleased to see that some of you experience similar things....i thought there was something seriously wrong with me.

Jevan you have to take in consideration your level of increased activity. I am sure you are doing more. Try increasing your protein and see if that kicks some of the hunger. It is normal to be more hungry this far in your journey. Hopefully things will work out.

Normal. Some days I am hungry like a hostage, and I eat... others, I can get by on liquids until late afternoon... keep it high protein, and keep up your fluids and vits and it's all good.

Yep you are normal! At about 4 months i noticed "the change". I can eat much more now then I could a few months out. Some days I can eat all day long others I have to force myself to eat. Just try and keep healthy munchies around for the snack attacks.
