Unhappy should I be counting calories if i dont excercise?

since I am going to school full-time and working part-time I hardly have time to exercise. I have been losing weight, but i am afraid of stored and/or unburned calories and fat.

Im just wondering if theres a magic number of calories to be consumed daily. Im not saying that I actually count/read everything on labels, its just that I have been doing so good that i am afraid to gain weight.

Couldnt hurt I also would highly recommend parking far away from the door.. and walking to work & / or school... every step counts..

I found this maybe it will help you.......

How To Calculate Your Calorie Needs

Very Light Exercise
Multiply your weight in pounds by 12

Light Exercise
Multiply your weight in pounds by 13

Moderate Exercise
Multiply your weight in pounds by 14

Moderate-Heavy Exercise
Multiply your weight in pounds by 15

Heavy Exercise
Multiply your weight in pounds by 16

Example
Alice weighs 140 pounds. She is very physically active.
Her calorie needs are 140 x 16 = 2240 calories/day

http://www.thinnerself.com/files/Expect_Chart.htm

i use the above chart, input your info and it gives you the number of calories to hit if you want to maintain your weight- if you still want to lose, then eat less than that number

it is a great chart for tracking progress too

i also use fitday.com to track what i eat, it counts everything for me

good luck

This is just the first one I found. I have NO idea if it is good bad, right or wrong. I would google it and see what you get. Try out a few and see what you get back. I still want to lose a little so I eat 900-1500 cal a day. I eat more when I work out. Remember 3500 cal = 1 pound. If you want to lose 2 pounds a week figure out what you need to maintain and subtract 7000 cal. Divide by 7 and you have your daily goal to lose 2 pounds a week
