Default Pain in my side

Hello Everyone,
I am just about 11 days out and yesterday I got this pain in my right side that is so painfull at times. I did have my gallbladder removed but have not had any pain at all on that side until yesterday. Any suggestions?? Could I have pulled a muscle or something favoring that side?

I am pre-op, cant help much.. but I certainly wouldnt monkey around with any pain after surgery! At least give him a call.. pain could be a lot of things.. and like the other Carrie said.. better safe than sorry! Feel better!! and keep us posted!

It could be something minor, such as musculoskeletal pain, to more serious, such as development of a fluid collection. The possibilities are huge in a fresh post op. My advice is to call your MD and let them decide how to proceed. If you are having any fevers, nausea, vomiting or increasing pain in severity or duration ....get on the phone now.

I had a severe side pain a few weeks after surgery. It was diagnosed as a kidney stone.
