My weight loss has slowed dramatically over the past month or so, but I've still lost around 5 pounds. It is difficult going from 15 pounds a month to 5 or even none. Just know that we are completely normal, and our bodies will unfortunately adjust to where they want to be.

As for calories, some days I barely get in 800. My nutritionist said that 1200 was 'maintaining' for me. I also get around 80 grams of protein a day. But you shouldn't listen to me about calories because I'm having major issues with food in general at the moment- let's just say I totally understand how annorexic women feel to have that control over food Not fun.

But I never work out. EVER. Between working 40 hour weeks, taking 5 classes, and having an almost 4 year old son, I never have time.

Well, technically me and my boyfriend get a workout session on occasionally...

Just keep your head up Gina. You've done amazing, and who knows what these next few months will hold!

You are so right. I already have to look at my old posts to remember what my anxieties were about! I really do feel much better - that one pound was all I needed.

I know that feeling! I was bouncing between 150-152 for a month and when I finally hit 149, I literally starting dancing around in my bathroom!

I'm thinking you'll be dancing around in your bathroom very soon

Hi there, I'm 2 months post op and down 40 pounds. I am worried that it is not enough. I am thrilled that it is gone at the same time (feel better and look better) but I have a long way to go (132 more pounds to lose). I am only getting about 70 grams of protein per day and some days I'm not very good at getting in all my liquids. Perhaps I'd better start keeping better track and writing this stuff down. Any thoughts?

I lost 21 pounds my first month and 12 the second, so you're doing better than I did and at this point I'm down 81 since surgery, 108 all together. I'm not about to complain. Sure, some lose faster, but I'd don't really mind - as long as it comes off!!

You're right though - you MUST get those liquids in. I forget how it works, but there is something about your liver won't get rid of the fat unless it has enough water to process things - or something like that. I mean - you're losing so fast at this point, you have to wash that stuff out of there, or your body will start burning muscle. Yuck!

Watch that protein too - again, you don't want to lose muscle, that is what burns the fat. It also looks a heck of a lot better than fat does.

Good luck and don't worry!!

This is actually an older post - don't know how it came back, honestly..but I'm down 12 pounds from this complaining session. If I "only" lose 6 pounds a month from now on till I hit goal - I promise not to complain at all!
