Default Feel Weird After Eating

Okay, I have my 3 month checkup tomorrow and I hate to call for something that might be nothing. After eating I am getting this, well, weird feeling. It almost feels like a sugar rush, but I am not eating any sugar! This morning was actually a scrambled egg (1/2) and a slice of bacon. This afternoon a chicken ceasar salad with carb free, sugar free dressing. Anyone else ever get this "rush"? Or know what it is and why I am getting it?

Sometimes foods with a little fat gives me the same feeling. It comes and goes, so it's hard to pin down anything specific. Just like evrything else with this process!

Tricia
You know I've gotten that feeling after I eat a good amount of protein. With me it's like a sugar or caffine rush.

I was reading this post as a lurker, but did you check to see if your bacon was cured with sugar?

Also, sugar free products like the dressing can have hidden sugar alcohols (I did Atkins 3 times and learned this stuff)

I'd read all of your ingredients.

Sorry if I am out of place since I never had this surgery

I, too, sometimes get that feeling with high-fat foods. I can dump with either high-fat or high-sugar food.
