Default Ah, the dilemna over clothing.....

I just finished my monthly clothing trip. I thought it got easier as I got smaller. However, there's a much more limited selection of clothing under size 8. What am I going to do next month when I'm a 4/6? I still have too big of a butt to buy from the junior's or misses section. Will I need to start paying full price at the department stores to find clothing that fits? I shall miss shopping at Ross.

How terrible to have such a problem.....

I still shop the thrift stores. I also just purchase online off of Newport News some size 4 jeans for 7.99. Target carries size 4 and mervyn's has them in the Petite section. Just look around I couldn't imagine size 4 and now all my 6's are hanging on me.

That is really interesting. I never of course looked in small clothes, but I always thought there would be a better selection. I wish I could say that I felt bad for you, but I'm jealous and can't wait to be in the situation. Great Job on the weight lose. Keep it up. P.S. Did you try alloy.com they are having a huge sale right now and have tiny clothes.

Hey Sandi? Need any clothes? I just pulled all my 3x skirt sets from my closet last night, the 2x's will follow them (should already). I am in a 20W today and it is just hanging on me! I am down 63 inches from 3 months ago. Hard to believe. So, if you need anything just hollar, I am ready to get rid of this stuff!

Hi Tricia!!

I thank you SO much for thinking of me dear heart, but, I've already passed up 3X clothes, I never did wear any 2X, went right over those, I'm in 26 pants, and 26/28 blouses, shirts and sweaters, from 5X & 6X in July. Isn't it just an amazing thing.. I'm SO proud of you, and happy for you to be doing so well, you worked hard to get here! We're gonna get healthy and thin together girlfriend!

There's supposed to be a clothing exchange this month, according to Lisa, you will make someone's day if you bring those clothes to that meeting...

Keep up the fantastic work girl, you're doing awesome!!!!!

Hugs~

Default I sympathize, Marie!

... had a VERY weird experience clothes shopping at JC Penney today - wanted to pick up a sweater while they're on sale (50-70%) but all of them - and they had LOTS - were TOO BIG FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought THIS would happen - usually, I'd go shopping for clothes and slink quietly out of the store when I realized their largest sizes were too small for me!

This is a disappointment I can live with!!!!

Thumbs up Shopping Trips

Ok well while on Vacation we hit the outlets in Vacaville and I told Stuart that I had to go into Banana Republic and Guess.. just because I could now without people thinking I must be shopping for my daughter or my niece or something.. without torturing myself thinking I will never fit into stuff there. So I put a couple pair of pants up to me in each store and found that yep.,. they had clothes that were entirely too big for me there!! I didn't buy anything.. well, strike that I bought a beanie at guess because it was 50% off and it was cold outside.

Also while we were in San Francisco the second time I bought a thick fleece lined jacket with weather proofing on the outside.. a very cute pink reversable jacket on Pier 39 for under 20 bucks.. which was great.. but I had to get a size Small and it is still kind of big.. I could have gone with an extra small but it was dirty and they didnt' have more in the back Either way it was a trip.. and the biggest trip of all was seeing the pictures afterwards.. I am freaking TINY!!!!!!!! Ya'll keep telling me this.. that I keep getting smaller but MY goodness.. I believe you now.. I am just where I want to be.. if I don't lose another pound I am happy!! (Of course I don't mind losing a little .. or a lot of skin.. )
