Unhappy Rumbling in the nether regions....

Happy New Year everybody!
Just to come right to the point... I've got some rippin' gas that just won't quit and I haven't had this problem since just a few days after surgery!
Any clues or idea's? I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary, but just feel really yucky.. Rumbling in the lower abdomen, some loose trips to the potty, no pain in the pouch, but some nausea... just feel like somebody ran over me....
I'm wondering about Gas-X, can I still do that this far into the ride?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Hugs~

Default stomach problem

sandi
you can use gas ex any time. maybe something you ate didn't agree with you or maybe you have a touch of flu or something. if it's not better i would call the office on monday. just eat light and make sure to drink water.

Thank you Melanie!! I'll take some GasX now before going to bed, and I'll pay extra attention to the liquid intake... I'll keep that up and hit the broth again...
Thanks so much Melanie for your help, I sure appreciate it! I don't like feeling this way, I've felt SO good ever since surgery, this is way out of the ordinary for me....

Sandi,

I had it so bad a few months ago I was bent over crying. Gas X will do the trick.

Sandi,

I am ripping with gas everyday....sounds pretty bad, but I am so used to it now. I have Gas-X on hand and take it at least once a day. Lately, it has been worse especially in this last week. Maybe the weather????... haven't changed my diet. Take the Gas-X girlfriend and hang in there. Just think, you have your podmate rumbling with ya! LOL

Love ya groovy girl!! Feel better

Thank you Katy!!! I did take one before going to bed last night and I slept until 4, but, woke up with still a little rumbling. Why would this start all of a sudden? Maybe like Melanie said, "something didn't agree with me"....

Just to let you know, by the way, I'm SO loving the sweatshirts you gave me, as well as all the other things too, especially Wile E. Coyote!!! Thank you my friend!
Hugs~

Hey my groovy podmate!! I guess we really are groove sista's huh? In more ways than just a few it "sounds" like, *rumble rumble*
I'm glad I hung on to my GasX, I'll give it a try taking it every day for a while to see what's going to happen, maybe it's the weather, I dunno, but, I DO know that I don't like it one little bit!
Thanks for your help girlfriend!
Love ya bunches~

Exclamation Gas and Laxative

The only foods I've noticed that give me gas are the same things that did BEFORE surgery--beans and bananas. I LOVE bananas and often eat one a day, so I have tummy rumblings quite a bit.

I had an unusual gastrointestinal episode over New Year's. I come from a southern family, so we MUST have blackeyed peas on New Year's Day for good luck. Along with the peas, I made a great big pot of collard greens. I had no idea that the collard greens would be the best laxative I've had since surgery! Whoa!!

So if any of you need a natural laxative, you can always cook some fresh collard greens! Yikes!
