Talking Guess what I did?

Okay, so I don't have the perfect, flat tummy yet, but...I have been working really hard at it was time for me to get this done.

I got my belly button pierced!

I had gotten it done 3 years ago, but had to take it out for surgery and it closed up quickly.

I went to the same place I got my tattoo done and they did a great job, as usual. The place is called, "Color Bomb" and they are in El Cajon. My husband had a tattoo done there also. The people are great and really take the time to talk about what they're doing. The first time I had it pierced, I went to a different place before knowing about Color Bomb and they didn't do as good of a job.

Brett, my piercer, did great and it didn't hurt at all. It was just a pinch and that was it.

So, I'm loving it and had to share with all of you!

Irela,
That is so cool. How exciting. I am gonna get my lower back tattoed, but Tino says I have to wait until I am at goal. I have always wanted one on my back, but got some on my legs and foot instead. Can't wait. I think I am reverting back in time to the years I missed being younger.

Default Cost and reverting back

The cost for the belly button ring was $45 plus I gave him a $10 tip. Like I said, he was very informative and did a great job.

Dale ~ I know what you mean about reverting back. After my divorce...before meeting Bill, I felt so free, that I felt like I needed to do something for myself and getting my belly button pierced, (the first time), was one of them. After Bill and I got together, we had talked about tattoos and how I always wanted one but never knew what to get. Since they are permanent, I'm so glad I waited until I found the perfect one. I have one on my lower back and it is a vine with 5 butterflies on it. The bigger butterfly in the middle represents me and there are two smaller butterflies on each side that represent each of my four kids. The only thing that hurt was the outlining. Other than that, I had no problems. Their prices are very reasonable too. I believe my tattoo cost $120 with tip.

I want my button pierced too, but will have to wait until after I get a tuck someday. Now, my button is a sad little frown, can barely see it.

I'm curious on how my current tats will do, as I got them way before I got fat. They stretched out and seem to be shrinking in proportianally as I lose weight.

Default Irela~

You know I have all of the butterflies on my leg. One that symbolizes me and the other 3 for my 3 kids. I also have 3 Hawaiian sea turtles on my other calf, one for each kid. I also have a Hawaiian sea turtle on my foot with a hibiscus on it's shell. I have an anklet of plumerias with a tribal look around my fat ankle. I kinda went through a phase where I did my legs and stuff because I thought I would NEVER wear a dress or shorts again in my life. Boy was I wrong. You never know. I was not hesitant at all to tattoo myself like that and sometimes I regret it, but I learn from mistakes.

As for the belly ring, I would do it, but not sure if it would irritate me when wearing jeans and stuff. Let me know how ya do with it. Maybe I will break down and go get one. Heck, we only live once, right. We have a very good piercer over here in Escondido and in the same place is where I got my tattoos done.

I also wanted to get a tatto on my bum that says kiss my "a**" for a long time, but that has always been an inside joke between my family members. LOL

Irela, I am so happy for you and can't wait to see your skinny self soon.

Love ya!

I got my tat on my rt/back shoulder blade because I knew when I got pregnant that would be the only place that would not stretch. Boy was I right...sayed in place nicely. Just a little faded from when I use to swim (the chlorine). Oh, my tat is a dolphine

Default Color Bomb!!!

Irela,

One of my best friends in the world works at Color Bomb!!! He is the best tattoo artist there and his name is Derek. He did ALL but one of my tats and he did all of my husbands tats.

I have known Brett for a long while too but I never got pierced by him. He does an excellent job though.

If you ever go back there...tell Derek that you know me....he will trip out!!

Thumbs up Karen

What a small world! I know Derek only because that is who did my husband's tattoo and he is great! My husband had an idea of what he wanted, told Derek and Derek created the tattoo. Bill was so impressed with his talent. I do plan on going back there because I want one more tattoo, but want to wait until I get to goal. I need something with musical notes. Bill also wants to get one more tattoo. So, next time we go there, I will make sure to mention you.

By the way, love the new pic!
