Default Light headed & B-12

I am starting to notice a pattern with my brain and energy so looking for thoughts on this.

I take B-12 once a month via injection. 1ml syringe in the thigh. I am finding about a week before I am due for shot that my head gets a little wooey. Once I have my injection, within a day or so, it goes away. Is this a reality or something else. Anyone else experience fuzzy, lightheadedness - best way I can describe is when you turn your head quick, it feels like you left parts of it behind.

I am eating the same, a little less fluids than I should and I am working on that, taking my vitamins, getting exercise and generally feeling good. The winter weather is taking its toll on me, but that very common for people living in the north.

I am flying to the city for 4 days on Wednesday, so a little time away for myself.....and a little shopping!

Scale moved 1 pound ....4 to go to goal!

I get light-headed every now and then. I'm due for my 6 month blood test tomorrow. Its the only follow up I've had since the surgery. So I'll get to see my levels then

Did this only start since you've had surgery or was it something from before.

I don't know...I don't do b-12 shots. Is there a reason you do shots and not the pill form? I take a little wee pill daily...

I have to admit though, I get that wooey feeling too. Mine is from being hypoglycemic and having my bloodpressure drop out from under me. Not sure what causes that...but there ya go. Check with your Dr. when you get the shot.

I'm experiencing the wooey thing right now and I'm still pre-op! I just chalked it up to the change in diet and am hoping it goes away after surgery. I however am getting short intense headaches with my wooey. Yes, I'm very well hydrated (lots and lots of Propel).

I hope you figure out your wooey Lisa!!

Never thought of the BP...mine is 90/60 when standing, and lower when I lay down. I have been getting the wooey when sitting up or getting up quick. None when I work out, except when I get off the treadmill (always did that!).

I do the B-12 shot myself, my doctor feels that it gets absorbed better than pill or liquid. I do have blood work to do in a few weeks, so I will talk to him when I get the results.

I do the sublingual thing weekly(or whenever I remember) so I dunno from the shot but I do periodically get the head rush thing. Talk to your doc next time you go in and see if there is reason for concern or if they maybe think you should move the shots to a more frequent schedule.

I do "Bariatric Advantage" multi, calcium, iron and B-12. They all taste good and are chewable/sublingual. T
