Talking I Finally Made It! 100 lbs. Gone!

Hi everyone!

Well, I finally made it--I've lost 100 FRIGGIN' POUNDS! Since I only had to lose 101 lbs. to GOAL, I'm REALLY, REALLY jazzed!

This afternoon, after eating breakfast AND lunch, I stepped on the scale and VOILA! there it was--151!!! I'm only ONE POUND FROM GOAL!

WOW...I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT. I had to actually weigh myself four times before I believed it!

This has been one of the most amazing journeys of my life--second only to motherhood, of course.

Now I have to get serious about maintenance. This is all new territory for me. I honestly don't know how I'm going to eat 2,200 calories a day to maintain 150 lbs. I guess I need to think about seeing a nutritionist, huh?

Thanks for sharing this terribly exciting time with me. I love you all!

Talking Thanks, Mentor!

Melanie:

Thanks for the encouragement. You're one of the few people who have truly suffered through my "downs" and celebrated my "ups" with me. You've been right there beside me every step of the way, and I've had the great pleasure of walking in your footsteps.

You've been a true inspiration to me--and everyone else post-GPS who aspires to reach goal and maintain.

Someday I want to be just like you! You're the bestest of the best!!!

Much love...
