Yeah, Whitney, how come you have to move just when we get to know you and like you so much? That's not a bit fair. Now I'm going to have to take my RV all the way to upstate NY.....

We need to have a coptergrrl party before you leave! I offer up my place, and we can play in the pool and spa if it isn't cold by that time.

Wow...so many big life moments (surgiversary, DH moving ahead, selling a house, goal, TT) That is a great deal to take in. Make sure you pack well before the surgery as you won't lift a finger after!!!!! I raise my glass to toast many happy times ahead!!

What kind of stuff did you keep in your progress book??? Enguiring minds!

Sounds like you are keeping busy, and doing great! Congrats!
Thanks - I got an album and took front, side, and back pix every month. I also made an insert each month to record my stats (weight, weight lost, BMI, inches lost etc). I am glad I did it as I would have forgotten the progress over time

So, that is awesome news that your mesh will be soft. Sounds like everything is coming along just perfectly for you.

I told my doc about you Dale (no names...just said "a friend of mine"), and he wishes he could help you. I thought you said yours was plastic - thats why the coth took me by surprise...

Whitney baby - you are so psyched!! And you're moving to Buffalo at a good time of the year. I think Oklahoma is the place to avoid these days!!

I'm so excited now I don't even know what to type!! So we'll be getting together in August at LEAST but sooner if I can manage it. It will be a great road trip - Duckie'll just cruise by my house, we'll grab some jerky and protein shakes and we'll be there in 5 hours!! Maybe I'll pick up a case of crystal lite just to go crazy.

This is gonna be fun!

Oh - and congrats on everything working out so well. You deserve it sister! You've been amazing!!!
I am so excited, Gina to get together with you and Michelle!!! And I hope you know that when you're in Buffalo in August, you are more than welcome to stay at our place We'll shake Buffalo up like it hasn't been shaken in a while

OMG OMG - yes that sounds like a terrific idea - we are having a going away thingie here, but its a long way for my SD peeps to drive - easier for me to do a roadtrip As for the RV thing - bring it on, girlfriend!! And stay as long as you like - well...maybe I'll just kidnap you and keep you there (hehehhe)

Whitney:
Congrats on all of the goings-on with you - sounds like you have everything in order (you little nester!) I lived near Buffalo for several years - hope you like snow! It really is pretty up there (I'm a city girl - it was a big adjustment for me!)

I think you should consider writing a book using all of your research - you could share it with people, but why not get some $$$$ for it? Maybe you could do some sort of workbook thing - I think you could do it up good!

I haven't even thought of plastic surgery, but all this talk of credit card vs. mesh has me even more terrified. I can't even IMAGINE what you all are talking about. I think "me and my panni" will be "strolling down the avenue" for the rest of my life.

Good luck with you - keep us updated..............

It would have been ok to use my name. Mine is plastic...rock hard plastic is how it feels to me. I am so glad you are getting a different type. I am glad you mentioned what happened to me...and hope it can help anyone who is out there about to get hernias repaired.

I also have the stress incontinence sling that is made out of the same plastic.
