Thumbs up 31 pounds and counting!

Hello all!

Well, as expected I slowed down a bit. I only lost 11 pounds the second week. Gosh darn. I will more than take it. He,he. I am very excited. Can you tell!!

Ok, now my question. Any suggestions on any good protein powders/shakes?

I am trying to take Bridge's advice to Paulina and pretend I am a rock star. My family is only willing to go so far with that. I don't understand why they don't make sure my water is a perfect 35 degrees before they serve it to me. And they have taken away my bell, it seems that I have abused it too much. LOL

Anyway, thanks for everyone for pouring out their heart and soul on this forum. It helps us new people more than you could ever know. Well, I guess you do know.

Davey,

Funny man! hey Davey, glad to hear you are in great spirits! Im no expert on protein shakes, I couldnt stand and still can barely stand the stuff..... hint but from COSTCO and GNC, they accept returned products if you dont like 'em! Good luck buddy, Im sure you will get alot of great suggestions from the others, take it easy!

Default Isopure!

Davey,

YES there are some really good tasting isopure drinks you can buy at GNC. They are called Isopure Protein drinks...they have 40 grams of whey protein in 22 oz. They come in great flavors like Alpine Punch and Grape Frost! They do cost $3.50 each, but if you like them...I can get them for $2.50 each from my brothers friend who owns a nutrition store! Try them...they are great!

Smile Hey Davey... after thought

If you go to Henry's or Stringbeanz they have little sample packets for sale. That way you can try without paying so much up front. Just a thought!

Default Protein Drinks

Davey.
Congrats on your weight loss. I have found that Isopure from GNC
is pretty good. You can buy it by the case there and if you have a GNC
card you can get a good discount once a month. But make sure you buy just
one to start to see if you like it. I also like the pro-rated chocolate protein
drink from costco. Hope this helps.

Davey,

Congrats on the 31 lbs. What a great start you have made. As for the protein, dude, it all stinks!!! Seriously, I have tried many, many brands and I can't do more than a few days on any one without feeling like I am going to get sick. I have not tried the Isopure yet but do plan on it. I keep repeating my mantra as I drink this stuff, "protein is my friend, protein is my friend" Good luck finding something you can handle comfortably.

Thumbs up

Davey~ This is great news! Congratulations on your weight loss and hey! 31 pounds is 31 pounds, right? You're such a LOSER and I mean that in the best way!

Now about the rock star image...there's room for one more. Even after being almost 5 months out, my family...especially my husband, tend to my every need. At 11:10 p.m. Thursday night, I told him that I needed some cream cheese for my mini bagel for breakfast today and there he went. To the store and I now have my cream cheese for breakfast.

Keep up the great work!
