Default 5 1/2 months out whats it like?

Well I can honestly say I made the right choice. People around me including close friends and family don't even know who I am anymore. I refuse fast food and demand fresh veggies. lol. They look at me very different now.

Even though im still huge and very far away from where I want to be I think 158lbs down aint bad in 5 months ya know. I work very very hard. I train everyday and I will be ready for this marathon coming in october. I think something I read here on thinner times sums it up best.

"This surgery is a tool" its something you use to help you on you're journey it doesn't magically fix everything for you. Its up to YOU to fix you're life. Surgery or not. I think sooo many people think "oh i'll get the surgery and then thats it im done" "i dont have to do anything else" thats a load of bs. I like the fact that its alot of work. It makes me feel like im accomplishing something ya know.

I've hit all 3 of my goals so far 399 350 and 299. My next ones I plan on not just hitting but, destroying.

4/1/07-260's
6/4/07-240's
goal 190's in october.

I think I'll beat all of that by a couple months each save for the last one. October is a revision of my intial goal of december 25,2007. I intially thought it would take me two years to hit goal weight then 1.5yrs(hence the dec 25th goal) now I think I can hit goal weight in october two months prior to even that.

5 1/5 months of training what does it mean it real terms?
longest distance to date in 24hrs- 7.5 miles
longest distance in 7 day period- 32 miles
b4 sets of 25 reps for(done each day)
6inch lifts
stomach crunches/side crunches
sit-ups

Its a loong road but, im working hard to get there. I need to be less than 10% body fat to have real abs and thats what i want to go with my arms/chest/and pecks. My chest right now already is a 59' and I think I will be a 55' chest with a 32' inch waist so I should have the nice V cut body that I want I just need the abs.

On to a more serious note. I will need PS without a doubt before I get my stomach. So while im spending all this time developing my stomach muscles and getting them defind so the surgeon can opperate accondingly, does anyone know of a good PS in the dallas/ft worth area?

You have given your a tool a "turbo boost" with all of the working out and training you're doing. All I can say is WOWOWOWOW!

You are a grand success story! Doing all the work to achieve your goals using GBS as a tool not an answer. There comes a point in everyones life where it's time to stop being "reactive" and start being "proactive" I'm so glad to see you being an active participant in your life and your health. I can't wait to see the end product. Look out world!
