Default We Thought We Had Forever

Well folks, I have just experienced the worst day of my 38 years on this planet. My lovely husband of 13 years was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He thought his diverticulitis was acting up. Instead, he has bowel cancer and has been given 6 months. I can't bear to think of him no longer with us. We have two daughters, ages 10 & 11. We thought we'd enjoy this new life of health...he quit smoking, I had the surgery...we started aquasize together...we were just laughing that at this pace we'd be driving each other crazy into our 80's.
No matter how crazy he can make me...I'd give anything to have more time. We will now live our days like each on is our last. I will do everything to make him comfortable and happy. I hope each of you go hug your kids...make love to your significant other and cherish every day. Bless you all. Thanks for being there. Say a prayer for my Rob. Love to all. BONNIE

I will keep your husband, you and your family in my prayers... know that miracles DO happen, and I certainly hope this is one of those instances. *hugs*

And make sure you get a second opinion... what may be terminal to one doctor, may be curable to another. My 82 year old grandmother just finished her treatments for lymphoma in her bowels. She had a major surgery- 3 huge tumors removed, and some perforations repaired.. then she had chemo.. May not be relative.. but.. dont give up hope!!
