Another plateau question?
Don't want to waste anyone's time with the same old questions, but is 3 months another "famous stalling point"? I don't think I've lost anything for weeks now and I'm feeling panicky because I can keep down ANYTHING, and I mean anything. I don't *think* I'm eating too much in quantity, but I'm really beginning to worry and obsess about calories. I've gone up and down between 326 and 335 for at least 3 weeks now.
I haven't been able to make a single post-op meeting and I won't be able to make this month's either, so I'm a bit of a wreck. Nothing appeals to me, nothing tastes good, so I just eat whatever and then worry about what I eat. I guess I'll try and get back on the wagon tomorrow and get obsessive about logging every bite of food I eat to see how I'm really doing. It's just freaky, because I've started up with my weekly dance classes again and I STILL am not losing any pounds... I would be devastated if I'd gone through this surgery and not learned anything from it with changing my habits and not having the tool in place to be forced to (since I have the super-tolerant pouch of doom).

You're most likely at a settlement point...your body is getting used to the more than 50 pounds you've lost in merely 3 months! That's amazing! Let your body adjust, make sure you're getting enough calories...don't want to go into starvation mode...and keep doing what you know is right...we each think we'll be "the one person" it doesn't work for...but you know what? the odds are definitely in our favor. Chin up baby! You're on your way!

You have had good success so far. Don't sabotage yourself with just eating whatever...there is still a long road ahead of you. Journal what you are eating and work at your protein levels and fluids. Just because your pouch tolerates it, doesn't mean you should eat it.
You have been given a gift.......look what you went through to have the surgery....now go use the tool!
This is your official kick in the pants. You will do fine.

I'm not stalling, but my weight loss is definitely getting weird lately. I lost 2 lbs., then 9, then 2 again...I'm just goin' with the flow!
I have a crazy tolerant pouch too! I have no problems with any foods really, as long as chew them properly. I dump on anything too fattening, but sugar doesn't bother me.
Just do the best you can and ask yourself "should I eat this?" before you take a bite!

You are doing just fine, and a plateau right now is par for the course. Your little bod is wondering what happened to all the caca you used to put into it and needs to level out. I would try to up your protein and your calories to kick it out of starvation mode, and make sure your are getting all of your fluids in. Stay the course with the above and your excercise, and you will be giving this same advise to someone else down the road.
Hang in there - inches are coming off even though the scale is being stubborn

You guys rock. I'm being good(er) and paying attention to what I'm eating, and I'm really not overeating in content, I just might be slacking on calories, things that are a tad too greasy or fatty (not like I'm scarfing on chocolate cake or anything!). I'm sure it's just time for a stall and it'll all work out soon. Been under a lot of stress too, which makes me want to eat. Funny how we don't eat even remotely as much as we did pre-op, but the mental & emotional conditioning is still there and we tell ourselves what "pigs" we are, etc... gah. Stupid brain.
Off to Santa Barbara for the weekend, lots of fun and hopefully no worrying about food and weight loss and such.
