I've attached an image of my weight-loss chart to date--I have to start up with a new PCP on Monday, and I want him to have as good a picture as possible of what I've accomplished and what I plan to accomplish. I think you can see what I mean about stairsteps. Oh - and I've got myself plugged in at an 80% loss. You'll see what I mean if you go to the site.

OK I saw this and wanted to make sure it's fresh for everyone who is going thru a plateau right now to see we are normal .. This graph made so much sense.. I may infact have a great week now knowing I am normal lol

WOW...thank you so much for sharing that. And here i have been complaining about my 'halting'...i have lost way more than i was expected to already. According to the chart i am doing excellent. I have lost 114 pounds in 6 months. I still have 33 to go though. By the way...it has been one hell of a birthday present for me. I turned 32 today! And i'm loving it. I put on a pair of jeans the other day and actually wore (tight jeans and a shirt) and i looked GOOD. I have still been wearing baggy clothes up until this point out of habit i guess...i was amazed. Everyone thought i looked fantastic. The hubby told me to 'discard' all of the baggy clothes but he doesn't want me to leave the house in the others...LOL....

I am glad I found this post. I am just about 1 month out. I have been weighing myself every couple of days and recording once a week. And I stopped losing weight for about 1 week. I was scared that I screwed it up. It looks like it is fairly common and that makes me feel better. I am always afraid I am eating way too much.
