Default 6 month f/u w/ Dr. P

Passing with all flying colors. My EKG is normal again. I'm going to have the sleep study redone too and a f/u lipid panel. My b/p and pulse rate are back to normal. I even was well enough to give blood. I now have proof that the surgery works to improve your health, along with your image. I told Dr. P that I wanted to try out for Extreme Makeover or the Swan. He said I'm too pretty for those shows. I said, well, I could try and look frumpy. To which he replied that I can't mask how good I look. He was quite pleased that I lost so much so quickly, as I was a lightweight to start off. My BMI is now 25 vs 41. Per Dr. P charts, I've lost 84 lbs. Per my scale, it's 94 lbs. My pre-op appt was 2 weeks berfore surgery, so i had gained a few lbs by surgery. I like my scale much better, as I can weigh myself butt naked at the same time each week vs wearing jeans and shoes at the office. I'm counting every ounce!

Default Marie,

Congratulations on your tests proving that this surgery gives you your health back. Congratulations on your 94 pounds lost, I like my scale better than the doctors too!
