Default Trouble?? Don't know what to do...

Heya folks,

I'm feeling a little freaked right now, and I'm supposed to be at work in 5 hours, but here's what's happening:

Starting around 12/21, I started having issues eating - everything I ate hurt. Nothing serious, but it was enough to make me start evaluating foods, cutting out and trying to figure out if I was dumping on any one particular thing, but nope. The problem has grown increasingly worse - have not had a full night's sleep since Christmas Eve - I'm constantly waking up because of pain. It feels like something is stuck, or I'm overly gassy - like gastritis pains, particularly in a tight band around my rib cage and on my right side. Further complicating issue is that I cannot remember the last time I was able to have a normal BM - have taken suppositories and they are not working - a little comes out, but I feel like I REALLY need to go to the bathroom and I literally can't. Passing some gas (very small amounts) and burping a little, but nothing is relieving this unbelievable pressure and pain. Have been vomiting a lot more too - this was the final straw that freaked me out - have been throwing up a bit of something green and it burns my throat.

PS. I know it's not my gall bladder - it was removed in 2000

Suggestions???

Hi Amanda,

I hope you feel better ASAP.... I am by no means a Dr., but it sounds to me like you could have some sort of a blockage. VERY dangerous! Let us know how it turns out as soon as you can, cuz I won't stop thinking about you until I know you are safe!

Amanda, I'm with the rest of them. Get to your doctor today!! And if you can't be seen by him today? I would get to the ER. A possible blockage isn't something to sit on. Take care, sweetie, and keep us posted.

Doc appt. is at 10:45am; my mom is going to take me. Pain has subsided, have not thrown up in an hour - hope I am not overreacting; I'm really mad about missing work. I look so unreliable...

Everthing else is secondary to you health. You need doctors attention, especially after this many days of the same symptoms and getting worse.

Take Care and let us know what the doctor says...you are not overreacting - you cannot play around with health issues.
