Paulina,
Once you stop your pain meds, you can drive again. I just caution you on doing too much too soon. You just had major surgery. You'll get to feeling pretty good around two and a half weeks out, but again, I caution you on trying to fit too much into your schedule too soon. Take good care of yourself, give your body the rest it needs to recouperate. Take baby steps. Get out for longer and longer durations, but listen to what your body tells you.

Well girl I'm not much older than you and I went through the same things of being tired of being home. For me I went out within my first week of being home. I just made it easy trips like to the movies or to pick up something at the store. I wouldn't go to far from home because you will get tired very easy and no where better to sleep than your bed. Hope this helps and I'm so glad you are doing well.

Paulina,
Congratulations!!
- I'm having my surgery on the 29th, so it was good to hear that you have such a good attitude only one week after surgery.
Best Wishes for a Great Holiday

Congratulations!!! I had my surgery the day after you and I'm so sick of being home too, I'm still experiencing pain and I can't take the pain meds so I have been just dealing with it. I'm also not much older than you and I know that it is frustrating just sitting home. Soon enough we will be able to go out and then WATCH OUT, IT'S ON Take care and glad to hear that your feeling better.

Good to hear you are doing well. I was also thinking of the down time after surgery.
I think I might get real bored too. Just think though, when will you get another chance, if ever to stay home, relax, and take care of yourself? Take care.

Davey
Hi Davey,
How are you feeling? I was suppose to have surgery same day as you but my surgery was rescheduled, so I was kinda looking for new about how your recovery is going.
Any words of wisdom?
Happy New Year!!!
