Harrison,

Welcome to the "Losers"! You will soon be leaving your old way of life behind. Looks like a CPAP machine in your picture, hopefully that will be one of the first things you lose! Okay, besides the weight! During this time period though just walk, sip, and rest.....then repeat. Don't try to bend over much or pick anything up. And remember, the pain will soon be gone and you WILL be able to eat like a normal person again. Just smaller amounts!

Smile Welcome

Welcome Harrison,

Congrats on your surgery and please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. The first week pretty much sucks but after that it is all uphill. You're gonna do great.. I may be a little biased but I think this is the best support group on the web..

Sip, walk, and rest and everything else will fall into place..

Default Hi

Hi Harrison,

I'm rather new here myself, unfortunately I didn't find this forum until the day before my surgery. Everyone here is so helpful and supportive, like a family. Congratulations on your surgery and good luck with your recovery.
