Gorgeous ring
OK, this is probably too much information about my own personality type, but when I know I'm going to be weighing in clothes, I take everything that I'm going to be wearing, including socks and shoes (I do draw the line at jewelry!) and put it on my food scale and weigh the clothing. That gives you an absolutely accurate, to the ounce, amount to subtract from the weight of the scale you step on in a public setting.
The ring's gorgeous!

Thanks everyone! I so appreciate your support!
Lisa- that is so funny about using your food scale to weigh your clothes. I would consider using it but my food scale is just this little thing and all it would hold would be my undies and socks! *L*
I'll probably hop on the work scale today. I don't think I can wait until Christmas to weigh again. One-derland is just so darn close!! I haven't had any water yet this morning (bad me) but I'll drink like crazy at work AFTER I weigh in! *L* Sheeesh...the games we play.
I'm glad you all like the ring. I was pretty dumb-founded when he bought it for me. It's been years since he bought me any kind of jewelry. It isn't something he does all the time, so in a way, it makes it even more special.

*LOL* Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll pass. I had to do the bowel prep a couple weeks ago for a colonoscopy.....Once every few years of that is enough for me! *L*

Yeah!!!!!! When your body is ready, it lets it go. I wonder if those of you living in the NOrth lose less weight in winter as it is evolutionarily protective to have a little extra fat in the cold? I am so happy for you and I am sure naked you are in onederland!!!! Congrats.

Oh sweetie - I am so glad you body is starting to cooperate with you!! I do what Lisa does and I weigh my clothes before I go to the docs (and I always make my appt first thing in the AM so I can go on an empty tummy). Other than that I weigh at home every day, but count it every Tuesday - works for me and I haven't gone crazy over it.
Oh - and tell DH that he has done very well with the ring - it is gorgeous!!! Wear it with pride because it signifies so much in your life - what an anchor to have!!

Beth....I have been wondering how you have been doing? Good to hear that things are progressing. It can be a really rough time during a plateau.
You are doing SO amazing and will continue to do so.
Love ya - Pod-mate!
PS: got your lovely card in the mail yesterday!
