Default Finally Post Op

Monday was my surgery date and boy what a day it was. My surgery itself was fine and my dr said I did really well. I woke up in the recovery room however and was really sick. I had the dry heaves and nausea all afternoon and stayed there until almost 8 o'clock at night. But once I got into my room I began to feel alot better.
I came home today and am feeling great. In fact there are times that if I didn't have my drain tube I would swear I hadn't had anything done.
Thank you to everyone here for all the advice and encouragment. Many times when I was feeling so unsure, you guys were what helped keep me going.

Welcome home! So glad things are going well. Remember, we are all here if you need us. The next few weeks will be full of changes, both physical and mental as you learn all about life with your pouch. Hang on, it's quite a ride! Congratulations, you are a loser now!
