Lisa,

I actually work at BUMC also. I ordered a case of the achivone mocha java protein drinks if you are interested in trying one. I don't know about you, but I have spend a fortune in trying drinks that I end up not liking. I have yet to find one that I really like. I have tried the mocha java once, and it was the first thing to not make me sick. But its a bit sweet for me. I'm going to try it a few more times before I give up.

I went to bariatriceating.com and bought their sampler pack. It consists of 15 different proteins to try and a shaker. I just got it yesterday and tried my first one today for breakfast (my surgery isn't until December 11). I had the Roadside Lemonade by Nectar. I didn't really love it, but I didn't hate it either. I was surprised that it wasn't grainy or lumpy. I want to try the different things in the sampler, but I've been told my tastes will change after surgery. In addition to the Nectar, I also like the Atkins Advantage chocolate or vanilla. I am drinking a Creamy Vanilla for lunch right now and it's really tasty. Good luck in finding something that works for you!
