Default 6 days out...17lbs gone

Hi all haven't been on in a while. I had my sugery 6 days ago. I don'y care how prepared you think you are, it is never enough. WOW, now I know what you all were talking about with the buyer's remorse stuff. I am still in ALOT of discomfort. Lots of pulling/tugginh pressure. It's getting a little better day by day but not as fast as I had expected. The good news is that probably by tomorrw I will be down 20 pounds in one week, DEFINITELY was NOT expecting to lose any for the first week or two, thought I was gonna gain due to the surgery. But anyways, need to get back to my beloved recliner for a little nap. Just wanted to share my 17 pound loss as of today..6 days post-op.

Good luck to all my fellow November stapler peeps whose surgeries are coming up. Take care!

Ok 1 week out....19 pounds gone FOREVER!!!

Yeah, I had big time buyers remorse. probably for the first couple weeks I was alternating between wishing I'd had the lap band, wishing I had not had the surgery, and wishing I was dead. I've long since come to terms with the surgery, what it is and isn't, and wouldn't take it back for anything.

Sounds like you are gonna do great.

Well done! Sounds like you are doing just fine. I also had major buyers remorse for about two weeks post op but it does get better! I still have the odd day where I regret it but then I do my weekly weigh in and it changes my whole frame of mind!

You will do great!

I know the feeling. 2 weeks out and at times was wondering what the hell I had done.
Weighted for the first time day and had lost 26 pounds.
Feel ready for anything now.
