Default Should I be worried?

I have lost 75 pounds since my surgery three months ago and lately I been getting worried that I am losing too quick. Im only eating twice a day too but I am doing my vitamins and calcium. Should I be worried about losing so damn quick? It's unreal and I also develeoped a painful bump right next to my incision thats starting to hurt more and more everyday and I am too cowardly to go to doctors cuz if its a hernia I really dont wanna go through surgery ever again.

The weight loss sounds fine from what I've heard from others, it is a lot and fast, but it doesn't sound like anything to worry about(but, like anything, ask your doctor to be sure). My friend lost 70lbs in his first month..(granted he was 530 lbs pre-op, but still.. ) and I'm 2 months out and have lost 60 lbs with the 20 I lost pre-surgery.

The painful bump on the other hand... Dude.. what are you thinking not going in to get that checked out?!!!??!!?? I'm like you, I've never been real big on going to the doctor, but the bottom line is that whatever that bump is, it is what it is, and avoiding the doctor is not going to make it go away.

People DIE from infections if they aren't treated properly ... Now the chances are that it isn't that bad, but damn, wouldn't you rather hear that from a doctor than somebody on this forum?

You came this far, get your ass into the doctor to figure out what's wrong!! At least so you know what you are dealing with and then go from there.

Just my 2 cents man..

-Josh

I wouldn't worry too much about that rapid weight loss. Everyone loses differently, besides its NOT like you're going to waste away...there'll be a plateau in your weight loss at some point. What I would worry about is firming up underneath as much as possible to keep up with the rapid weight loss. PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN
