Default Going Bald????

Well not quite.

I know there are a lot of posts about hair loss, but I just wondering if anyone has actually gone completely bald after their surgery.

I seem to be losing it by the handful, I had loads to begin with but I can notice a big difference. Probably just being dramatic.

Just wondering????

I had my surgery right before you and mine is coming out in hunks! I HATE washing my hair and dryings it every day. By the time I am finished, I have to clean my clothes off and the bathroom counters, floors, toilet, sinks, everything! I feel like it's wrapped around me like a web. I am getting very thin around my part on top and it is starting to scare me! I have been taking Biotin and getting my protein in from day one, so wonder if I would be bald had I NOT done that. All I know is that it better stop soon! I have always been vain about my hair. As a fat person, that seemed to be all I had going for me!

Yep, you're all normal! My pillow looked like I was shedding every morning for months. But it's back now, thick as ever, and curly again. You'll know it's stopping when you notice little baby hairs poking up in your hairline. I know dreamcatcher said she's wearing a wig at our last meeting, though she's not completely bald.

ha ha ha.

handfuls is an exaggeration. Its not that bad at all. The thought of loss of my hair scared me away from having WLS for over 5 years... its silly now that I look back at it. Yeah you get some thinning, but its not as bad as being fat feels... thats for sure!

And it grows back.... a lil more curly, and WAY more beautiful!

Handfulls - check!
Web - check!
Looks like long haired yeti came into my house and shaved himself all over every surface of my bathroom - check!

My hair was REALLY thick to begin with so im not THAT scared... unless it continues at this pace for another 3-4 months in which case ill invest in a wig i think. But the other morning i had a VERY weird shower experiance. My hair is and always has been straight as a board... as i was pulling the web off my head i pulled out a Curley hair... and not just kinda wavy. CURLEY... full length and as curly as any hair ive ever seen. I wold have sworn it wasnt from my head if i hadnt just pulled it off myself.
Am i going to end up with Curley hair? WOOHOO! Maybe itll turn red too and then ill end up looking exactally like ive always wanted to! Lol! This tool gets better every minute.

"Side effects of this surgery may include better health, decreased desire for sugar, changes in personal relationships and curley hair." Buyer beware!
