That is wierd huh? I was 36 pounds down when I went to Lane Bryant. I was in the same size too. For me what had happend was, that size was tight on me before surgery, I'm figuring I should have gone up a size, and now it fit me properly. So if this is by chance the issue with you, then you have in fact gone done a size. I did notice that at the beginning of this weightloss journey it took greater amounts of pounds to go down in size, and now I will drop a size after only losing 4 pounds. I guess more of the inches are coming off now. It will drop, don't worry. and it wont be long, it will be quick. I know that is easier to say than to hear though. I do remember seeing people lose a couple sizes right away and I hadn't, but I had lost more pounds. It is a strange thing and just goes to show how different we all are. Hang in there!

I am glad I was of help to you. Working out will make all the differnce. My doc says that is the one thing that put me at the high end (or should it be low end?? of the weight loss spectrum. I work out very vigorously5 days per week. You will notice a definate drop after beginning your work outs. You are doing fantastic. Anxious to see your continued loss!

I have to agree with Melanie. I've just been noticing the same thing over the past couple months. You know I continued to wear my same clothes until about 4-5 months postop. They were getting bigger but not SO BIG that I couldn't wear them. At 5 months post-op I was down 100 lbs and had only broken down to buy new clothes like the month before. Now I can't even wear the clothes that I got just a month ago! Everything is getting so big so fast! I mean they don't stay up!! I'm finding that I am changing sizes SO much faster! I buy something, and its even tight when I buy it and 3 weeks later its almost falling off from me. I'm only averaging about 3-4 pounds a week so its not that I'm losing so much more than I was earlier. For me, I lost from the top down. My tops got bigger on me faster than my pants. Now it seems that I am losing more from the waist down. FINALLY! Please try not to get too discouraged. You will keep shrinking! I know that for sure and before you know it you'll be panicing because you don't have anything that fits you!

Don't worry..it happens. I remember thinking why I lost a bunch of weight, but the clothing sizes weren't changing. I still don't know what true size I am...it varies from store to store.

You all of the sudden will drop down in sizes overnight, so don't worry. It will suprise you and you will be delighted.
