Default Low grade fever, lack of energy..unusual for me

When I went in for my 3 month checkup on the 20th, I had a 100.5 fever but felt fine. I did end up not working out on Friday, too worn out and then was too worn out again today and stayed home. I am used to being able to "work it off" if I'm fighting a cold.

Then I read something about low iron levels - when can that set in and what exactly are the symptoms? I had bloodwork done at like, 6 weeks, but for the first time since surgery, I am feeling run down.

Then again, I am a teacher and just went back to work, I'm exposed to all the sick kids (and my own) and it could just be a mild cold virus. But you know how we all are! PARANOID!

I really have had SO much extra energy since the surgery, it feels wierd to be dragging! And I have no other symptoms - no throat, headache or other problems - just sort of tired.

HEY GINA,
I AM NO DOCTOR, BUT I BET YOU ARE FIGHTING A BUG THAT ONE OF THE KIDS BROUGHT HOME OR TO SCHOOL. MY DAUGHTER BROUGHT HOME A STOMACHE BUG LAST WEEK. MY LITTLE GUY AND I CAUGHT IT. THANK GOD I WASN'T VOMITTING, BUT HAD ALL THE OTHER STUFF THAT COMES WITH THOSE NASTY STOMACHE BUGS. I FELT REALLY RUN DOWN. JUST COULDN'T EVEN LIFT MY HEAD OFF THE PILLOW. JUST TO BE SAFE THOUGH, YOU SHOULD CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR. I HOPE YOU ARE FEELING WELL SOON! TAKE CARE

It is going around..since the kids been back at school. I am sure you are just exposed to so many bugs in your classroom. I hope tht you feel better soon.

My son had an inner ear infection and bronchtis as a result of catching a bug at school. We let it go and it turned for the worse.

Take care of yourself and rest up. I know that with me being anemic, I am already weakend. I was told to up my vitamin C when I take it with my iron.

Feel better
