Default I Thought I Hit The Dreaded Plateau But...

I must have been building muscle or something. In the past three weeks ( after starting weight training), I have only been able to lose 3 lbs. I was feeling discouraged, but didn't think I had much room for complaint, because it has fallen off so rapidly up to this point. Well I tried on my 16's two weeks ago, and could barely pull them all the way up, and had no hope of buttoning/zipping them. Well today, I figured I would try them on for S$%! and giggles again. Not only was I able to pull them up with ease, but button/zip the up. They are even loose around the hips, butt and legs!!! I can't freaken believe it. There were times I lost 10 pounds in a two week span and it didn't make that much of a difference in my clothes. I thought I was setting myself up for dissappointment this morning when I tried them on, haveing only lost 3 pounds. Good thing I tried them on, in another three, they may be too big . So there is my WOW moment for this week and a little lesson on the all so dreaded plateau!!!

Default This is one to remember!

Thank you for posting that Melanie! I've saved this message so I can come back to it when/if I hit a plateau. It helps to remember that plateaus aren't roadblocks but a place to rest and check out the scenery.

Its amazing...how you can feel down cause the scale is not moving and then you put on clothes that you think will still be too small...and they are almost too big..its a strange but wonderful thing!

Here's to a century for you soon!
