Well, since you asked for replies from lovely ladies...I will not say anything, other than the fact that I am upset that you do not think I am lovely as well..

Hey, welcome to the forum....don't mind Mike, he is our resident perv and jokester. There are many side effects possible from the surgery, but most only get a few. It's too extensive to completely answer on one thread. For me, I battled a lot of nausea the first few months. I did not get depressed, but was irritable a lot. Almost everyone loses quite a bit of hair.....and my new hair is curly. Good luck on your research and stick around!

Have you tried www.obesityhelp.com ??? Very great information on that site. I would also recommend WLS for Dummies. Do some Google searching as well. It is very important to do your own person research on complicatons and side effects. Obesityhelp also has a lot more post-op patiest who have their stories on their personal pages.

This is a very serious and personal decision. Only you can decide (with a doctors help) if it is for you. We are here for support.
