Default Silly WOW Moment!

Ok guys...I cried at the gym today. I was working with my trainer, and got curious as to how much exactly does 100 pounds weigh? I know Lisa's post compared me to loosing a 2 month old horse, but its not like I lift a 2 month old horse all the time, so he grabbed a 100 pound barbell, brought it over to me and laid it in my hands. And I started to cry!!!! 100 pounds weighs A LOT, and I have been blessed to loose it FOREVER. I am so grateful!!!

Making it tangible and real like that allows it to hit home how much you have actually lost. It is a great revelation.

It's weird how little things affect us. I was thinking about how heavy the cat litter was today...21 lbs. Ummm I was carrying around almost 5 of those before!

I just told my friend today that if my dog gains 10 lbs and I lose 10, we'll be about the same! I know we have lots of WOW moments, but I have had many OW moments too. One dog knocked me down the stairs a few months back.....where before he would have just made me stumble. I went airborn on the steps and landed flat on my back. My dogs also step on my feet constantly now. I am always hollering. My friend finally said that maybe less girth makes them walking more closely to me. Then, of course are the wicked booty bones I have to sit on!

Are you supposed to be carrying since you just had that incident at the store and been under anesthesia. I think you shouldn't overdo it. Now, go rest...doctors orders from DALE!!!

Whitney, great revelation. My daughter weighs 50 lbs so I think sometimes when I am walking with her about the fact that I used to carry 2 of her while walking..hard to believe....when I am at goal it will be like "loosing" my husbands weight......kinda like the time Oprah pulled out over 60lbs of fat in her wagon!
