Default Hard liquor?

Can someone with GPS still drink hard liquor? Stuff like whisey and all that? Like, can someone like me who just had surgery August 2nd drink a shot of whiskey? 1 shot? Just wondering.

I wouldn't try it this early out. You know we get drunk a whole lot easier. If you do it, I would just have half a portion. I don't think I could have swallowed a whole shot that early out without serious pain. Plus all the sugars in alcohol, you could send yourself into dumping. I had a margarita (actually I had 6 small sips and that was all I could handle) and I felt light headed and buzzed almost immediately. I just figured it wasn't worth it. I hope this helps. Good luck to you if you decide to go for it.

I wouldn't do hard liquor this close out, I would imagine it would burn like hell! I didn't try hard liquor til I was about 4-5 months out and then I got seriously buzzed off just a few sips. Remember, you will get drunk much quicker but also sober up much quicker. 1 glass of wine now is about my limit in an hours time and that is usually only when I go out with my peeps. I have had a bottle of Pinot Grigio (my fav wine) in my fridge for way over a month now and still haven't popped the cork!

Default I Did It! 1 1/2 Mo. Out. Don't Try It.

I was about 1 1/2 mos. out and was at a wedding when my cousin brought out the PATRON (tequilla). I got pretty brave and decided to try about 1/2 shot of the stuff...BAD IDEA! It hurt SOO BAD! I was having bad chest and stomach pains for about 20 min.. Not worth the buzz. Smoke a bowl instead! (Just kiddin'...that stuff is bad for you it makes you hungry and thirsty. It's a gateway drug. You'll become an junkie, picking-up cans and turning tricks just your next high. Next thing you know your on A&E Intervention crying your eyes out because your family is telling you how much they love you and want you back to normal. All of this for some BOOZIN! Not worth it.)

I love weed, but only do it once ina w hile. I was just wondering because my friend wanted to buy me a shot in a week or so when we hang out, but I dont think i am gonna bother.

Its cool though that I will get drunk easier. I used to be able to drink loads and feel nothing. lol

Thumbs down

This post disgusts me...as a parent and seeing an 18 year old asking about drinking and smoking weed. Why would adults even respond to this post?

Each to their own...just disgusted...
