birth control
So I started on birth control last week. I know it's normal to gain a few pounds with the pill and the shot, is this also the case with the patch? That's what I've started using and I noticed a few pound gain the other day. It's dropped back down as of this morning, but is this fluctuation normal?

I don't know anything about the patch but I'm sure it works similiar therefore has similiar side effects. just a guess.
I recently changed from pills to the depo shot. In october I'm getting an IUD. I won't have to do a damn thing re: birthcontrol for FIVE years. thank god.

The shot in the ASS hurt. lol Even if the IUD placement hurts... at least you only have to go through it once every 5 years. Not every 3 months!!! lol

My hubby got snipped...good thing cuz every now and then I want another baby...and then the demon spawn start brawling and I come to my senses!!

No pain here
I didn't feel a thing when they put either of my IUDs in - two different doctors and they are wonderful! I feel my hubbie is too young for snipping...(what if I change my mind too?)
Mine were both 10 year things (less than 3 years into the most recent one)

AMEN SISTER!! I have 3 - Spawn...different Demon though (I think? )...and that DEMON got SNIPPED TOO! BEST BIRTH CONTROL IN THE WHOLE WORLD! 
I did the patch too, prior, but didn't gain any weight from the patch itself. It was from the pudding and doritos I was eating because the patch made me hungry!! The patch hardly weighs a thing...me on the other hand...I weighed quite a bit!! LOL!!
