Default Wow Moment!!

Last night I had a wow moment for me and my 11-year-old daughter. I went out to walk and she tagged along, as usual. She took along her volleyball because she just finished up with volleyball camp and wants to try out for the team at school. So, we walked and had a great time. When we got back to our yard, she asked if I would throw the ball for her to hit it back to me and I was a little hesitant because I have not done something like this in two or three years because of my health and was not sure I could do it actually yet. So, I told her I would try. We played for about an hour and before it was over, I was actually playing volleyball with her (without a net of course, lol), but was hitting it back and running for the ball. She was amazed and kept thanking me for playing with her and talked about how long it has been since I have been able to do something like that with her. She had the best time and I was beaming because I was being a "mom" again. I felt so good afterwards, I came inside and even gave my two babies (dogs) a bath before sitting down. Of course, I paid for it with my back later, but I was SO excited to actually feel like a human again and have some fun with my daughter, who has missed her Mom doing things with her for way too long now. Life is DEFINITELY GETTING BETTER!!!

That is so awesome! Cherish these moments. I was obese the entire time my boys were growing up and the biggest thing I remember doing with them that I could handle was just wrestling around with them. This was a MAJOR WOW MOMENT for you I am sure. You go girl!

Trina, that is the greatest...I found myself about half an hour ago thinking I wanted to clear some weeds from the side of my house this weekend...do you think I could have done it 2 months ago...NO! Yay for us!
