Marty, there's a country song that says something like...If you're going thru hell, ya better keep going. I'll say a prayer for you and your family.

Brook, Im about as far out as you are and I know the feeling. Sometimes I feel like I'VE PIGGED OUT ALL DAY...usually pms time. Then, I log my food intake on fitday.com and it turns out I've taken in under 1300 calories! I'm usually at around 900-1000.
I actually end up losing more weight! My body appreciates the higher calories. I don't know if it is the same in your case, but next time you've "pigged out" figure out how many calories you've actually taken in. You may be pleasently surprised. At least it will give you a good gauge on how much is too much.

I'm good at keepin on! I have a few friends, my Mom, and my sister as support through the rough times....and of course all you guys. Thanks for the prayers and encouragement.

I notice you are below goal....first off, a HUGE Congrats!! But a question too......are you done? Are you still losing? I'm closing in on mine and my sis says don't lose much more or my face will start looking older and gaunt. I trust her not to throw in her own issues and baggage. So, I am trying to see now where is a "normal" weight for me. I have never in my life been this size, so can't be sure how to know how much to lose. I do think I can lose at least 5 more, then a few on the TT. But how can we tell when we need to intentionally up our calories to maintain?

Marty, thanks for the congrats, it's awesome, i havnt weighed this since 10th grade.
yes, im still losing. 2 pounds last week. usually 1 pound a week. people are telling me to stop, but really i eat pretty much all i can. i figure i'll keep an eye on my bmi, which is now 23.7. well within the normal range. i guess if it went below 18 id worry. i cant imagine worrying about being underweight, weird.

Wow, I don't even know when I've been this weight......I would have been probably pre-teen. I'm not to the worrying about too skinny thing, but more like the "what is my optimum weight so I can stop there". I'm wanting to lose another 5-15, but TT will take a few.
