Okay.. I need help and I'm not sure where to turn to.. and I was hoping someone in this wonderful group could help me out.

So - I know it's not recommended to get pregnant until 18 months post op but ......

Anyone know if because of the surgery a HPT would be more likely to come out negative because of things moving around in our body so much quicker? and things filtering through the urine different?
Any thoughts? Anyone? HELP!!

Who knows...Call your doctor and get a blood test - then you'll know.

I think it will show up in the urine. Not sure...maybe someone here might be able to shed some light on this?

I think it would show up regardless. If the HCG hormone is present, it will show up, and there has to be HCG if you are pregnant.

The beta hcg made in pregnancy has nothing to do with our GI tract. It does not effect the outcome of a HPT. Hope you get the outcome you are hoping for.
