People you know or work with when they come to you and say
you have lost enough so quit loosing.

Or your too thin now, you need to eat more.

I would just smile and nod and know deep in my heart that it's none of their business.

Default Blame everything on your doctor!!

This is the out for every confrontation. "You're losing too much" you say, "You know, I wondered about that, but my doctor wants me to be no more than such and such above normal weight for my height," or whatever. I have people telling me I only need to lose 30 or 40 more pounds...I weight 233 and I'm 5' 2". So if people are really obnoxious, I also say, "What weight do you recommend for someone 5' 2"?" They never say 193, that is for sure!

I also prepared my family for the fact that when you lose fast, your face loses a lot but after a few months, things redistribute. I told them this so they wouldn't worry, but mostly so they wouldn't bug me.

But the doctor line is always best. Then you have medical authority on your side.

I've had a few friends say similar. I've said to them "when did you get your medical degree" (ha ha) - they kinda get the hint for future conversations. Then I say "I'm under medical supervision - all is good".

My son said that to me last night, "don't lose anymore weight mom you are "skinny" enough"....LOL I laughed inside and told him once I get to the healthy weight for mommy I will stop, or my body knows where it needs to be. It doesn't want to be anerexic :-)

I tell them to mind their own business. I have told people that my doctor will determine when and not them. I am just mean that way because people just don't know how to mind their own business.
