I am 2 years post-op and trying to get back on track after just having a baby in April.
Do any of you Water Load and does it work???

What do you mean by water load? What's it supposed to do? (i'm familiar with the term "carb load" but not water load)

Kim, I started water loading about 2 weeks ago, and have lost 8 pounds since then, so yes I think that it works. It keeps me full for about 45 minutes, which usually is enough time to let my craving pass.


Ron, water loading is when you sip on water, then drink as much as you can as fast as you can to fill your pouch up so you are not hungry.

Ohhhh. That makes sense. As long as you are popping sufficient vitamins and getting your protien I can't see it being a problem.

I had my surgery over 2 years ago and things are MUCh different than before and I need to get back on track...vitamins and enough protein won't cut it...lol
