I too am going through the same thing - my husband has bad anger and negativity issues.. for the longest time I just chalked it up to it being him - then I noticed that it was reflecting in my 3 y/o daughter - and he would take anger out on her (like when he is mad, put holes in the wall in front of her, where she thinks it ok to do it herself)..

someone one told me that - the surgery takes the fat off our eyes.. where we realize that we dont need to put up with what we did before..

I have no advice - as I am trying to decide what to do myself... I never thought as myself as the type to divorce / or be a failure at marriage.. but dunno...

anyway, I just wanted to offer a hug to you - I understand too!

Thanks Sheri...again!!! It totally hit home. Guess what? I like it here! I have talked to many people other than his family, and they love it here too. We actually looked at a model homne today that is gorgeous!!! We will have to adopt kids to fill it, but it is b-e-a-utiful No jobs, but my husband is a different man here than at hone, so maybe this is an okay thing...

Whitney, that is great! You may end up liking it there and get a new house out of the deal. Wish I could get a new house. I'm sick of this one. LOL See, there may be a silver lining. Keep that positive attitude!! ((HUGS))

Just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!! I hope everything works out good for you.
And from reading the posts.. I assume you took a vacation to come out to Buffalo and check things out? Well - IF you are actually considering it.. I just wanted to say.. Buffalo is a GREAT area.. I have lived here all my life and can't imagine being anywhere else! We have hot and humid summers and cold and snowy winters. Spring is wet and muddy and Fall is beautiful! The changing colors of leaves.. what a sight! Buffalo does however get quite a bad rap for being bad in terms of snow.. Honest.. it's not that bad!! We have about a week of bad snow last year.. and the rest was nothing! My daughter's school was only closed ONE day and that was due to extreme cold not the snow. And the four seasons we have here are what make Buffalo (and the Northeast in general) such a great place! We try to travel each year to different places.. I've been to Florida, Virginia, California, Oregon, Arizona and each time.. I can't wait to get home!!
Okay.. enough babbling.. I just wanted to put in a good word for Buffalo! LOL
Good luck with your marriage.. I hope everything works out the way you hope.
Take care hun!
