Default You Guys Were Right About The Scales

I had my surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and I had been weighing myself every day and getting bummed out because I thought the scale wasn't moving. I was about to go back to the doctor to see if there was something wrong. I tearfully told my husband that this forum recommends people to not weigh often so my husband hid the scale 2 weeks ago. Well today, he brought it out and I fearfully weighed myself (I didn't think I had lost ANYTHING- I just didn't feel it) and low and behold- I was down another 14 pounds! I feel so excited about my weight loss- it gives me more incentive to keep up my walking and protein regiment. Wow, You guys were so right. You guys are super!!!!!!

Congrats! It is a great feeling to start losing again. I have lost pretty slow all along due to college eating habits, but now since I've graduated, started working more than full time and moved into a house with my boyfriend the scale has been going down again! I don't weigh in everyday anymore just for my own sanity.

Thanks, everybody I think going 2 weeks without a weigh is a little toooo long.( I started to feel discouraged) I think the once-a-week weigh-in is the thing for me (Isn't that also what most of you have recommended-Dah )

Tammy one of the great things is about this forum there is plenty of experience and things we have already been through that you will soon encounter as well. So it is always great to read up on post that we might be going through so we know we are not alone or that what we are going through is normal and shall pass. Tammy you have this tool for the rest of your life. It is not going anywhere, if you don't lose weight one week no biggie, sonner or later it will start to drop, if you stick to your regimen. Congrats on the -14 pound lost, NICE.
