Thumbs up How awesome is it...

...to not be winded going up several flights of stairs?

...to actually enjoy shopping again?

...to receive appreciating (not horrified) looks from strangers?

...to know that people are really seeing YOU (your intelligence, performance, and personality) instead of your weight?

...to be called "skinny"... and have people mean it!

I'm so grateful for this surgery - it has changed my life 100% and I'm happier than I have been... ever.

Default Barbara,

I can so relate to your last statement. I am thrilled to be where I am right now. I could stop loosing and be completely happy. I feel 100% better than I was just 12 weeks ago. I am so grateful for WLS!

You know its almost crazy how much my life has changed in a short 15 weeks. I've never been happier and I have so much to look forward to.

I have a great boyfriend.
I have a good job that I enjoy.
I start school in Jan.
I have made the best friends a girl could want.
There is just so much to be thankful for.

You know I thank GOD and Dr. Potts everyday I wake up and I'm actually happy to look at myself.

I totally agree with what everyone has said. I plan on losing much more but if (God forbid) I were to stop losing right now, I'd be great. I am sooooo much better off than I was 4 months ago. I have a life again. For the first time my grandaughters can actually sit on my LAP, not just kind of hang there. I love my new life, my new friends and God and Dr Callery for giving me this second chance at life.
