Default have a great vacation!

Whitney,
I love both of the areas you are going to visit. I hope you have a great time. Niagara Falls are awesome, I would like to go there again, and upstate New York is spectacular. Are you going to go to Colonial Williamsburg?? It's super cool--be sure and watch the little movie they suggest for orientation, it's a blast, and really takes you back a couple hundred years or so....

I also have to say I know just what you mean when you speak of the support of our second family here. I can't imagine how lost and alone I would feel if I hadn't been able to say, "my body is doing (insert whatever stupid thing here) and I don't know what to do! We really act as each other's touchstones, which is really cool. It's funny, too, how we can bicker and snipe at each other, yet get over it and go forward. So, have a great vacation, and I look forward to lots of pix when you get back!

I would love to go to the Falls again - I was truely amazed the first time I went there! Both places are family visits - NY is for hubby's side, and VA is for mine, and is actually where I was born. I love Williamsburg...all of the shops are so cool, and the re-enactment of the history makes it come alive. In VA we will do a lot of sailing, and my sister and I are throwing a surprise retirement party for my dad and stepmom.

On the other note - I love that I can talk about poop and no one goes..."EEEEWWWWW gross!!!" I promise pictures!!

Thumbs up Safe Trip Whitney

HI - Sounds like you are in for a fun time. I am on Week 6 right now and down 36 lbs. I thought maybe I would have lost more -but with the 36 gone it is amazing how I feel. This week I have started to feel stronger more than the past of course- but I cant wait to experience what you are ...how did you do your first mos out or two? WHEN YOU are back from your vacation maybe you will have time to share with me???
I need to get into a exercise regieme before i head back to work on sep1- but I am fighting that one. I dont want to go back but hubby afriad i will be bored (haha right). Anyhow, enought of ME. I am so excited for you - thanks for sharing what some of us newbies have to look forward too. One thing - I fit into our barstools recently - and wow what a WOW moment!!! I never could sit at our kitch island all this time and never admitted why - haha - I am sure many can relate to that one! I also feel more roomy in my minivan - and the seatbelt...we were travelling the other day and I was able to reach back and help my daughter in her wheelchair ...and my husband said wow look how easy that was for you to get up and turn around ...before yo uhad to struggle and seatbelt ...etc... another WOW moment.
Oh - I have 2 weddings comeing up so gotta reallywork out as my neice in Sep and my daughter in Dec. I have time to get down several dress sizes right folks???? Thanks for letting me ramble - i love you guys on here.
Hey Chrissie havent seen you on here in awhile - how are you ???
Anyhow - Whitney you are such a cutie girl - I wish you a safe and blessed trip! Hugs ...

Whitney, I hope you and your hubby have a wonderful vacation and I pray that their weather has mellowed a bit before you arrive. I love the new avitar, it looks sooo much more like the beautiful girl I met at Rain's bbq! Keep up the good work!
